Learning Final Cut Pro X

Looks like I might need to start learning Final Cut Pro X. I know in some instances it is awesome, but in a lot of ways, it is not even close to what 7 was.
I have received a call from a local community college to deliver some course materials to the class concerning editing. Great, only thing is that now they are looking toward FCP X. Maybe I will have to pull my finger out and learn it after all. I might even need to invest in some tutorial material via Lynda.com. I have also been following the material that has gone out from ripple training with Steve Martin. Not the actor, the editor and trainer.
